WebJun 26, 2024 · Not sure if this is revelant here but over on the Orbx forum they are touting a new global HD buildings release for FSX/Prepare 3D. This is a product being developed by ORBX for more than two years. Hopefully it'll be released soon and it's not a performance killer for FSX/P3D. Used the downloaded scenery as is, and so far no black building at all. WebOrbx textures are better and more consistent, but the real winner is the placement of trees. Orbx gets the placement bang on. Ortho4xp seems to randomly distribute them - you will see them littering fields, car parks and even football stadiums. This along with much better auto gen overall, makes Orbx a clear winner. WebTrees is not a Big install....Hard to tell if at this point the value they add are of any use since P3D vegetation has gotten better...You will have to decid...
