WebEndermites, according to the wiki, will TRY to burrow, but fail at it, and can be kept with nametags. But silverfish...if we could just stop them from burrowing, it'd be fantastic. Nametags stop them from despawning, but they disappear into the ground! I've done some cursory googling, but couldn't find that specific answer.
