Spread the first layer of sand into the area with a rake. Damp the road base with a tamper. Create tram tracks and remove the extra sand. Put the other layer and repeat steps 6-8. Before I began the new route I had to drop steeply down this quiet lane. I followed the well signed track to Broughsplace.
